Business Card DONE

(The dark outline is just to show the shape of my business card. The edges of my business card will be the same color as the rest of the background) This is the business card I have designed in order to advertise myself. I believe it is very professional and stands out well. It will be the same size as a debit card so people who receive it will be able to slide it into a compartment of their wallet or purse. I have decided to make the primary color white fort to stand out in a persons wallet or purse, as they are typically dark colors. The fancy shape across the middle, and that divides my persuasive job title and other details will be gold, again to help my business card stand out. My name is bold and obvious, and i have decided to use 'Josh', a short, and typically used version of 'Joshua' as it will be easier to remember. Teeside University DONE

On the 9th May, 2019, my classmates and I attended a number of talks regarding our futures into the career we would like. One of the people doing the talks was into sports journalism, while the other was into editing, camera work, filming et cetera. Both mentioned that they started freelance, but were able to have financial stability as they showed off their skills more, and to various different companies, which is what I will look to do in the future, as I believe that will be the best way for me to start my career in graphic design.

Mock Interview

During my mock interview, for an american football coach, I was able to answer each question confidently, and answered some with multiple pieces of information. I was some what prepared on how I would get into the job role, including knowing people who got themselves into the american football coach role which I would like to be. I also found out what my starting income would be, and what it could rise to. As well, I knew what requirements were needed in order to become an American Football Coach, which included knowing the game, having experience coaching, and being dbs checked. For my next interviews, I would prepare better by recieving more people who I could contact about getting into coaching, and be already dbs checked, and already have my level 1 coaching badge.
